Alfred Krupp was born on August 13, 1907. He was an Olympic yacht races competitor, an industrialist, and a member of the Krupp family. It has been prominent in Germany, since the early 19th century. His conviction of crimes against humanity was after World War II; the reason was the way he operated his factories. He served three years in prison.
Alfred Krupp's family company called Friedrich Krupp AG Hoesch-Krupp, was a supplier of matériel and weapons to the Nazi regime and the Wehrmacht during the Second World War.
