In the current evolving nursing discipline, Theories that try to explain how to heal mentally associated disorders have been postulated by scholars. Amongst them include the think tank postulated by Margaret Newman at the New York University and Pennsylvania state university in 1978. Much cropped out on the current issues affecting the nursing profession. Adaptation models in the theories of planned behavior are postulated forth by scholars and pediatrics that the ability of the patient to cope with cognitive and psychological mechanisms, can result due to internal or external stimuli. It can be focal stimulus resulting to a person’s ability to acclimatize to a given situation. For a successful patient-pediatric relationship, the adaptive modes has to be well understood. The psychological and self-concepts those affect the spiritual and psychological behaviors need to be determined for correct evaluation of the patient. That is to say, the persons in question, his health status, the immediate surroundings and the medical administration process must relate to ensure recovery of the problem (Marriner T, A., & Alligood, M. R.2006).

Another model that is put forward to help in mental health nursing is Self-care Deficit. This is meant to help pediatrics and nurses to understand the reasons for seeking the nursing and health-care. It explains the actions relevant for patients to meet their self-care needs. The nurses get to understand the patient’s needs and the kind of problem associated with such deficit. This helps to administer the patients well and to ensure there is availability of such requirements for the proper healing. The patient’s personal life attributes are therefore the core issue in the theory. Once they are understood, the correct administration problem combating will be solved by a great magnitude (Marriner T, A., & Alligood, M. R.2006).

Also the theory of Self-Efficacy, explains out the social aspects of the patient. This is the ability of an individual to form and effect sequences of actions. Here, it is believed that some behaviors in individuals consequences. In the actual concert of behavior (enactive attainment), watching others perform (vicarious experience), oral encouragements and physiological response or bodily experience on the action are some of the tools used to help pediatrics and nurses. They give out the behavioral information on the patient thus enables the nurses to use the best responses as the patients act to the stimuli on the tools employed for treatment (.Fortinash, K. M., & Holoday, P. A. 2012).

Other scholars and researchers developed the theory of Nursing intellectual capital which relies on the nurse’s expertise and practice on the patient. It postulates on the human efforts of nurses providing care services to the patients. The roles played by the Nurses health scholars and the administrators in ensuring healing from the condition one is suffering from (Fortinash, K. M., & Holoday, P. A. 2012).

Lastly, the theory of peaceful End of life help the Nurses and health scholars in accepting and inferring the values of peaceful end of a life of fatally ill individuals seeking medical attention. This theory portrays the features of patients not experiencing symptoms like; thirst, pain or Nausea. Further study while postulating the theory, it was found patients at comfort, living well and peacefully with other members of the society, had shown better life to their death. The medics can therefore apply the theory in prolonging the life of the patient through comfortable and peaceful life as a health measure in efforts to heal. Significantly, the patients are regarded to enjoy full life as the other fortunate members who are not ill. The nursing practitioners get the guide in administering terminally ill patients. (Marriner T, A., & Alligood, M. R.2006).
